Desiree is an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the San Gabriel Band of Mission Indians. She was raised in Southern California and earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Native American Studies from Cal Poly Pomona, followed by a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University.
Driven by a deep commitment to providing culturally safe, holistic care, Desiree has dedicated her career to serving diverse communities. She has gained extensive experience working within the education system in both general and special education settings.
Desiree is honored to continue the mission of Acorns to Oak Trees by integrating culturally responsive practices and fostering an environment of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration with the families she serves.
