Cameron was born in California and grew up in a large family with eight siblings, one of whom experienced cognitive and speech delays. Inspired by his brother’s journey, Cameron developed a deep passion for supporting individuals with similar challenges—a passion that led him to pursue a career in occupational therapy.
While earning his degree in occupational therapy, Cameron began his professional journey as a Registered Behavior Therapist, where he worked with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In this role, he implemented behavioral interventions and provided parent training to support skill development at home. He later gained further experience as a Functional Skills Aide at a private school for children with diverse special needs, collaborating closely with occupational therapists and speech pathologists to build practical life skills that prepare students for meaningful employment.
Cameron graduated from Grossmont College in June 2025 and is thrilled to continue his work as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, helping children and families build the skills that enable them to lead fulfilling, independent lives.
